I am the second owner of this convertible tablet/laptop. It was purchased in 2006 and occasionally used for university lectures and when travelling for professional presentations. More receltly, I have used it in conjunction with teleprompter software and hood for creation and narration of instructional videos. It's a great little unit which the original purchaser used at Vermont Academy.
The original hard disk (30 or 40GB) was replaced with a new 80 GB HDD and at about the same time I obtained an original Windows XP installation and driver disk from HP for the TC1100. The tablet works on both battery as well as when connected to the docking station. The AC charger connects either directly to the TC1100 (for travelling) or through the docking station which also provides access to the CD/DVD when needed.
The tablet, keyboard, docking station, AC charger, and screen stylus are included. Software includes Microsoft Windows XP Pro SP3, and bundled versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Access, Publisher, and FrontPage. The external bluetooth mouse, teleprompter hood, and tripod are optionally available.
