Model HP 17-ca0xxx
not working - cosmetically excellent
HP Laptop- 17.3" screen - upgraded to 16 GB Ram - New 256 SSD - A9 AMD runs at 3.1 Ghz - DVD/RW - 2 x 3.0 USB - 1 x 2.0 USB - card reader - phones/mic combo jack - paid $750 New - about 5 month old. Was told by my tech I damaged the SATA cable when I was trying to upgrade the drive from HDD to SSD. Drive included and works fine - tested on desktop. Has Windows 10 Pro on disk but I will give you DVD with Windows Home on it (Disk has all latest versions of Windows 10 on it). It will activate itself when installed (digital code on the motherboard). SATA cable is 30 bucks on Amazon and eBay.
I bought this laptop to record on my Ableton DAW but found it isn't versatile enough for my needs. So rather than sink more money into this laptop I bought a desktop, installed three more drives and a four bay Icy Dock and I'm good to go. BUT - I still owe money on the HP and would rather sell it and pay it off rather than continue to make payments. So - You get a deal. About 4/5 Months Old. Perfect screen. Cosmetically: Near Perfect (The long rubber feet have to be removed to get to the screws that open the laptop. One broke in half. It can still be used just as before but there will be a break in the line. They run from almost one side to the other in front and back. Have the part number if interested, but I just used them like they were. Currently removed to keep from having to pull them on and off.)
Keep in mind - the person who told me it is the SATA cable is a profession - professionals can also be wrong. Sale is final - no Buyers Remorse returns will be accepted.
