Collectors’ Item: Up for sale is a classic IBM ThinkPad i Series (Type 2621) in its original factory box. This is a rare find for retro tech collectors as it includes the original retail packaging and essential software media.

Condition & Testing:

Power: The laptop powers on successfully to the BIOS and "Insert System Diskette" screen (see photos).
Hard Drive: NOT INCLUDED. The original hard drive has been removed for data privacy. You will need to install a 2.5" IDE drive or a CF-to-IDE adapter to boot an OS.
Physical: The chassis and keyboard are in good vintage condition. The screen is functional but please review photos for any age-related wear.
Battery: Due to age, the battery is likely depleted and should be assumed non-functional without a constant power source.
