We are seeking a detail-oriented, technically elite AV & Low Voltage Custom Integrator to join our team. This isn't just about pulling wire; it’s about crafting seamless technology experiences for luxury homes and high-end commercial spaces. You will be responsible for the installation, programming, and "trim-out" of sophisticated automation systems, ensuring every rack is organized and every keypad is perfectly leveled.
Key Responsibilities
System Integration: Full-cycle installation of luxury automation systems (Control4, Savant, or Crestron) and commercial AV setups.
Lutron Specialist: Installation and configuration of Lutron Homeworks/RadioRA3 lighting systems and automated shading solutions.
Infrastructure: Expert-level low-voltage wiring, including Cat6, coax, fiber optics, and speaker wire, with a focus on meticulous labeling and management.
Networking: Deploying enterprise-grade wireless and wired networks (Araknis, Ubiquiti, etc.) to support high-bandwidth automation.
Rack Building: Designing and dressing equipment racks that are as functional as they are aesthetic.
Client Interaction: Walking high-end residential and commercial clients through system operations with a professional, "white-glove" demeanor.
Required Skills & Experience
Experience: 5+ years in custom AV integration or low-voltage contracting.
Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of Lutron (Lighting &Shading) and at least one major automation platform.
Precision: Ability to read blueprints, wiring schematics, and technical elevations.
Problem Solving: Advanced troubleshooting skills for signal flow, IP networking, and hardware failures.
Physical Ability: Comfortable on ladders, in crawl spaces, and able to lift 50+ lbs when mounting large displays.
Bonus Points If You Have:
Manufacturer certifications (Lutron, Control4, PCNA, or CTS).
Experience with motorized window treatment measurements and installation.
A background in security, CCTV, and access control integration.
