Outdoor environment
Playacting, improvisation, storytelling, Live-Action Roleplaying (LARP) with children and teens
Comprehensive paid 2-week staff training mid-to-late May
We seek qualified, upbeat, and fun applicants, ages 18 or higher, with experience working with children, and who value equality, generosity, curiosity, empathy, emotional intelligence, and emotional safety. Background checks required.
Summer Seasonal Employment at our summer day camp.
Potential for a job offer in the fall for part-time year-round employment at afterschool classes, birthday parties, and school holiday programs.
Boulder, Longmont, or Louisville (choose which to work at).
WAGES
$18.50+/hour for starting Quest Leaders in Boulder County.
+$1/hour or more if Teaching License, Early Childhood Teaching Cert., or BA or MA in Education or Child Psychology.
($19.50+/hour in Denver, but we may have already hired our Denver Team)
$24/hour for weekend birthday parties in Boulder or Denver.
50 cents per mile round-trip travel payments for all programs of less than 4 hours in length, such as birthdays and afterschool programs.

Regarding Background Checks:
As per the Colorado Revised Statutes 26-6-104 (7), all staff must agree to background checks, because specific criminal backgrounds disqualify applicants from working in childcare in Colorado:
Child abuse, as specified in section 18-6-401, C.R.S.
A crime of violence, as defined in section 18-1.3-406, C.R.S.
Any felony offenses involving unlawful sexual behavior, as defined in section 16-22-102(9), C.R.S.
Any felony, the underlying factual basis of which has been found by the court on the record to include an act of domestic violence, as defined in section 18-6-800.3 C.R.S.
A pattern of misdemeanor convictions, as defined by the rule of the state board, within the ten years immediately preceding the date of submission of the application
Any offense in any other state, the elements of which are substantially similar to the elements of any one of the offenses described in sub-subparagraphs (a) to (e) of this subparagraph (1)
For purposes of this paragraph (a), “convicted” means a conviction by a jury or by a court and shall also include a deferred judgment and sentence agreement, a deferred prosecution agreement, a deferred adjudication agreement, an adjudication, and a plea of guilty or nolo contendere.
