11.5 amp heavy-duty motor with ATC (Active Torque Control) safety feature that stops the motor if the grinding wheel binds up.
Electronic controls keep the motor speed constant under load, provides soft start function, and prevents the motor from overheating.
The tool comes with a Type 27 grinding wheel guard that adjusts without tools, and TWO Type 01 guards for use with cutting wheels.
