Tired of being underpaid, under-supported, and expected to make every job work anyway?
We’re a professional Boulder remodeling company specializing in kitchens, bathrooms, and whole-home renovations. We’re hiring an experienced Lead Remodeler / Carpenter who can run and build kitchen and bathroom remodels from start to finish.
This role is for someone who understands how a remodel actually comes together: protection, demo, framing, layout, rough-in coordination, drywall, trim, cabinetry, doors, hardware, finish details, punch work, and client-ready completion.
You do not need to be an expert in every trade, but you do need to know how to lead a remodel in the field, keep the job moving, solve problems, communicate clearly, and produce high-quality hands-on work.
This is a full-time W-2 position paying $48–$52/hour, depending on experience.
You Will Not Be Left on an Island
We expect our Lead Remodelers to take ownership in the field, but we also believe they should be properly supported.
Our office helps with:
~ Project planning and scheduling
~ Client communication and updates
~ Selections and product coordination
~ Ordering and material support
~ Trade partner coordination
~ JobTread setup and documentation
~ Estimating, change orders, and administrative support
Your job is to lead the project in the field, maintain quality, communicate what is needed, and keep the work moving.
You bring the field leadership and craftsmanship. We bring the office support to help you succeed.
What You’ll Do
As a Lead Remodeler / Carpenter, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day success of kitchen, bathroom, and residential remodeling projects.
You’ll be expected to:
~ Run kitchen and bathroom remodels from start to finish
~ Plan daily jobsite work and keep projects moving
~ Perform high-quality hands-on carpentry and remodeling work
~ Coordinate with trade partners and team members
~ Maintain clean, organized, protected jobsites
~ Protect floors, surfaces, materials, cabinetry, and client property
~ Maintain strong dust control in occupied homes
~ Communicate calmly and professionally with clients
~ Identify problems early and help solve them before they become bigger issues
~ Complete job documentation through JobTread, training is provided, but willingness to use the system is required.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who has actually built remodels, not just worked on small pieces of them.
The right person has experience with:
~ Kitchen remodels
~ Bathroom remodels
~ Residential remodeling in occupied homes
~ Framing, trim, doors, cabinetry, blocking, layout, hardware, and finish details
~ Working around plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, tile, flooring, and other trades
~ Reading plans, thinking ahead, and understanding project sequencing
~ Managing punch lists and finishing jobs cleanly
You should be able to look at a kitchen or bathroom project and understand what needs to happen next, what could cause delays, what needs to be protected, what questions need answers, and what details matter before the job is complete.
This Role Is a Good Fit If You
~ Have successfully run kitchen or bathroom remodels before
~ Take pride in clean, organized, high-quality work
~ Can lead without needing to be micromanaged
~ Are confident in your skills but still open to feedback
~ Communicate professionally with clients, coworkers, and trade partners
~ Like solving problems and keeping projects moving
~ Want steady, long-term work with a professional company
~ Want responsibility, but also want real office support behind you
~ Are a leader and a team player who can teach, learn, and work well with others
Requirements
You must have:
~ Professional-grade hand and power tools
~ Reliable transportation
~ Strong residential remodeling experience
~ Clean, organized work habits
~ A full-time schedule available: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm
~ A professional attitude with clients and coworkers
~ The ability to lead, teach, learn, and work as part of a team
This is a full-time W-2 employee position. We are not hiring part-time workers or 1099 subcontractors for this role.
Pay
This position pays $48–$52/hour, depending on experience, skill level, leadership ability, and overall fit.
