Job Store Staffing is seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator for a client in the Louisville area. In this role, you will set up and operate Amada press brakes to produce precision metal components while ensuring all parts meet quality and blueprint specifications. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a growing manufacturing company looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual to join their team.

What You’ll Do
• Set up and operate Amada press brake machines
• Install the proper tooling and program machines for production runs
• Form metal parts according to blueprint specifications
• Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure they meet required tolerances
• Work with Quality Assurance to verify parts meet customer specifications
• Scan completed jobs into the E2 system for production tracking
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Assist with other shop duties as needed
What We’re Looking For
• Previous experience operating Amada Press Brakes
• Ability to independently set up tooling and program machines
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience using precision measuring tools including calipers, squares, protractors, and tape measures
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
• Knowledge of aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized steel, and hot/cold rolled steel
• Understanding of material gauges and thickness measurements
• Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
Preferred Qualifications
• Forklift experience
• Experience handling large fabricated parts
• Flexible, dependable, and safety-minded
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand for an entire shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with moderate noise and vibration
