Wildfire mitigation company working in the Raymond, CO area is looking to hire 1–2 experienced crew members for immediate work.
This is physical, outdoor work in rugged terrain. We’re looking for reliable, hard-working individuals with chainsaw experience who can jump in right away.
Job Duties:
• Cutting, limbing, and bucking trees using a chainsaw
• Hauling and stacking small trees in hand cut and pile areas
• Operating and feeding a chipper
• Working in uneven, forested terrain and changing weather conditions
Requirements:
• Chainsaw experience required – this is not a training position
• Able to lift and carry 75+ lbs, work on your feet all day
• Must have reliable transportation to the job site
• Good communication skills, team attitude, and strong work ethic
Pay:
• $20/hr for first 2 weeks (trial period)
• $25/hr after trial
• Potential for more work immediately after this contract and in the future
