Heavily customized 2017 United XLMTV enclosed trailer
This is the most unique trailer you will ever come across!
It comes equipped with a legendary 'The Hobbit' wood stove, an incredibly high quality mini wood burner meant for small spaces just like this trailer, you can read more about this stove at: https://salamanderstoves.com
The stove and chimney setup is worth over $1,600 alone (they are custom built in England)
I originally built this trailer for snowmobile camping in the winter, but it serves a great purpose all season honestly.
It is fully insulated - underneath the floorboards, behind the wall panels, and the ceiling behind the wood finish.
With the wood stove and insulation, you can EASILY sleep comfortably inside in the middle of a January blizzard snowstorm. The temperature inside will stay about 75 degrees consistently, even when the outside temps are negative -10 degrees. The wood stove takes a couple minutes to setup and break down, it easily comes out for summer camping, and the chimney simply comes down for travel. The trailer comes with a fire extinguisher and smoke/heat/carbon monoxide detector to ensure health and safety. You can easily cook on the stovetop, making camping that much better.
The interior floor is coated with Rhino Liner paint (truck bed protectant) so it's waterproof and tough.
2 snowmobiles easily fit, 1 forward and 1 backward. My summit 165" and freeride 146" fit easily, with all supplies and bed and stove etc. etc. etc.
I have a very nice mattress that is setup to store on the wall while traveling and easily folds down to camp and sleep once the snowmobiles are out. It is a queen size mattress and was $750 from a store in Boulder. You will not be roughing it while camping in this trailer. Queen size mattress next to a wood stove in the middle of a snowstorm in the backcountry? YES please!
There are 2 removable wheel chocks with D-ring connects for simple towing of 2 dirt bikes/motorcycles.
I built custom wood cabinets in the front for easy storage of riding gear or camping supplies.
Originally, this trailer was $9k from the dealership, for just the NAKED trailer alone. I put thousands and thousands of dollars into this trailer with the wood stove, bed, insulation, wall paneling and wood ceiling, Rhino Lining the floor, adding custom cabinets in the front, and 60+ hours of labor to customize the entire thing. I have all receipts and paperwork, title, etc.
There is a wide RV-style door with window and summer screen door, 2 other windows, a roof vent with exhaust fan built in, LED lights that run off a battery in the trailer which charges while towing, and larger fluorescent lights that work when the trailer is plugged into power or a generator. There are also 3 wall outlets for electricity, which also work when the trailer is hooked up to power or a generator.
I just had the trailer serviced- so the brakes were checked and are fine, axles were serviced, bearings packed with fresh grease, etc. etc. She is ready to roll!!!
Tires are still good, trailer literally needs nothing! This is not something I want to sell, but after starting up a new business recently I am low on funds and don't have much time to camp anymore unfortunately.
Please call with any questions - there are so many features in this trailer that I probably forgot to mention some of them, don't hesitate to call and chat about specifics. Serious inquiries only, I will not take lowball offers, this trailer is just too rare. Open to reasonable offers.
