I am a student at a five-element acupuncture school in Louisville, Colorado. I need a person to volunteer their time for me to do an intake session on. It would take place this Saturday, February 21st from 2:15 pm to about 5pm in the school clinic. There would be no needling, just me asking questions and doing an exam to check for tight muscles, blood pressure, checking for imbalances in your meridians, checking for sore areas that correlate with organs, and a few other interesting tests that are fun to learn about as we are doing them
Going through this intake session will be healing and informative by helping you to look at your self and who you are as a person in a different light. You will leave feeling like you went through a healing session, even though we will not be needling any points. It will also motivate you to want to change things in your life for the better.
It is a great time of year to do this as we are transitioning from winter to spring. Spring is when things in nature start to bud and grow. Spring follows the winter season which is when things in nature rest, rejuvenate, and reflect and take from the harvests that have been stored from the previous seasons. It is a great way to learn about what five-element acupuncture is, how it is different than the mainstream style of acupuncture that most acupuncturists provide, and how this style of acupuncture can benefit you. This intake session can help you to see something about yourself clearer or also bring light to something that you have never seen before. It is very interesting to understand how the 5 seasons of nature relate to our bodies and who we are.
