A couple years ago I purchased an Oregon 37-Ton log wood splitter with the Honda professional engine.
As of certain events earlier this year, I no longer have it. Its main purpose was to make firewood for the needy thru EFFA, LEAP and another non-proof profit that delivered home heating wood to retired military soldiers.
I’ve personally donated approximately ten cords thru Ward Mountain Exchange, (the intermediary that sells and delivers to the non-profits) to other citizens in town whom were medically or mentally in able and three cords to one man who a was run over by a truck, unable to procure heat for last winter.
To make Long story short, I’m needing another heavy-duty splitter to continue helping other people. I have about two hundred more cords of already harvested ponderosa logs 12”-30” diameter. I do not have money to purchase another nor do I have a way to deliver as my truck was lost to the same earlier emergency.
I’m making rounds to other non-profits and to your company looking to procure another splitter for this up coming winter. I’m not sure you are able to donate one or make trade of firewood to sell.
The price of a split wood cord last year was $360 as opposed to $525 the local going rate. The selling price for bundles here are $9. The commercial rate at which the store buys them is $4.50/ bundle. Making a price of $860/cord, bundled and delivered to storefront. A healthy profit but at a harsh expense for home use.
I’m willing and able to continue helping others in need but unable due to the loss of the splitter and sale of my Ford truck 4x4 vehicles (a 250, 150 and XLT Ranger) and a small Honda Generator.
I would need help to continue helping others. Winter is coming.
The large flatbed truck being utilized from Ward Mountain Exchange has broken down. I can offer 16” length, rounds and huge logs up to twenty feet length at 12”-30” diameter. All I have.
What I can really use to continue; Heavy Duty splitter; small generator; more personal protective clothing; another chainsaw/ blades; 4x4 vehicle; tarps; gas and oil…it’s just me, one chainsaw with over $100K in harvested logs. I have tons of firewood. Wanting to help.
I can give away free firewood for helping get wood to others.
I need dog food and another log splitter as I has to sell the last one for a dog emergency.
Looking for ideas. 200 cords of ponderosa; some logs shows scorching from grass fire.
Help me. Help others. Help yourself.
Love to everyone
