I'm a 100% disabled veteran, and just lost my income. The former tenants in the home I moved into in February left a *boat load* of junk behind. There are several mattresses, two couches, two large cat trees, and a slew of boxes all taking up space in my garage. The landlord is refusing to deal with this, as with everything else that's his responsibility, and passing the buck on to me.
I can't fully move into my home until the junk is gone, as there are several large items inside the home that need to be moved into the garage, and the rest of my belongings can't be moved in until there is room... It's like playing a losing game of Tetris right now. I'm on disability and can't afford to pay, but can trade produce from this season's monthly harvests as things become available. The first harvest should be in June and last harvest in November.
I've had several people agree to do the job for free, but then ultimately reneg on the deal after a week or two or just stop responding altogether. I just need this stuff gone and have no means to do so on my own, can anyone help? I can send pictures to anyone interested in helping. I'm having major surgery 4/27, and will be unable to help lift anything more than 10lbs for the next two months or do any bending/strenuous activities.
