Was installed in my family room, I replaced it with something more modern. Works, comes with 3' down rod (I have a lofted ceiling), and wall switch that controls fan and light separately. Fan is reversable but only has one speed. It rubs a little as it power up and powers down but I assume that is fixable if you know how to balance a fan. I don't. Unfortunately the glass cover on the light broke when the fan was taken down, but this is easily replaceable at any home improvement store. Free to the first person who wants to come and fetch it.
